Labor and delivery observation

At this stage, one guest plus one doula can be with you until you are moved to a labor room or discharged.

Labor and delivery

During labor, you’re welcome to have 3 guests plus 1 doula with you in the room at a time.

  • Your primary labor support person and 2 additional guests.
  • Children under 12 are limited to siblings and must be accompanied by an adult whose only task is their care.

In the Operating Room, you may have one support person.

In the Recovery Room, you may have one support person plus one doula.

Family-centered postpartum

During postpartum, you're welcome to have 3 guests plus one doula with you in the room at a time.

  • Your primary support partner and 2 additional guests.
  • Healthy children are welcome.
  • Children under 12 are limited to siblings.
  • “Quiet Time” is observed daily. Plan in advance and let your friends and family know.
  • Visiting hours are 8am – 8pm
  • Overnight 8pm – 8am:  Either 1 support person or 1 doula overnight; no children overnight.

Services

Along with the second-floor waiting area outside Labor and Delivery, there are other useful services for your family and friends available on the first-floor main lobby, including the Wellness Café.
