I am originally from Nepal. After graduating from Medical University of Warsaw, Poland, I joined University of Minnesota to do research in the field of blood disorders and cancer, which was followed by my internal medicine residency at University of Cincinnati, OH, and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Emory University, Atlanta, GA. I have been in clinical practice since 2012.I started with Karmanos Cancer Institute of Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, as an Assistant Professor of Oncology, where my practice was focused in GI cancers, sarcomas, and clinical research. I was fortunate to join the Oncology/Hematology Department of Kaiser Permanente in 2015. I decided to become a physician right after high school, when I realized my calling was to serve people who are sick and I have never regretted the decision. It has been a pleasure and privilege.
