Learn how a healthy lifestyle, plus good nutrition, plus exercise all add up to a healthy pregnancy . Attend as early in your pregnancy as possible to give your baby a healthy start!

Prepared childbirth

Learn skills and strategies to help make your childbirth experience a positive one. You and your partner or labor support person will get an in-depth look at labor and childbirth, relaxation, breathing, and pushing techniques.

Maternity tour

Join guided group walking tours of our Anaheim and Irvine Medical Centers. You’ll get a preview of what to expect when it’s time to have your baby, including information about where to park, where to enter the hospital, visiting hours, and services available to you and your family.

Breastfeeding with success 

Your baby’s health begins with good nutrition, and breastfeeding offers a number of health benefits to both you and your baby. Learn about breastfeeding positions, milk supply, preventing and managing pain, pumping, milk storage, and working while breastfeeding. This program is open to expectant mothers and their partners or support people.

Baby care basics

Wouldn’t it be nice if babies came with instruction manuals? This program might be the next best thing. Learn about diapering, bathing, daily baby care, reducing the chance of SIDS, baby products, calming a fussy baby, and helping your baby sleep peacefully.

Spend the morning with other new moms and
babies, make new friends, get practical information, and support in a
comfortable café environment.

Infant safety and CPR

Learn how to keep your newborn safe, from choosing a car seat, to performing infant CPR, household safety tips, and what to do if your baby is choking. Open to expectant parents, grandparents, and other caregivers. *This is not a certification class.

Boot camp for new dads

At this men-only workshop, you’ll meet veteran dads who have been in your shoes. These dads (along with their babies) will team up with your coach to show you how to thrive as a new father. Registration fee includes the book Crash Course for Dads-to-Be by Greg Bishop, plus a onesie for your baby when you return as a veteran dad.

Boot camp for new moms

Boot Camp is a unique workshop where first time moms-to-be to get advice, insight, and tips from real new moms and babies. Bring your questions and find out what to really expect.

AAA Child passenger safety

Learn how to correctly secure your new baby in a car seat. A certified technician will show you the proper safety techniques for infants to children up to 8 years old.
