Hi, my name is Zehzaa. I'm very happy to have this opportunity to share my credentials with you and tell you a little about myself. I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I’ve wanted to be a physician since high school—I was so fascinated by medicine, I used to read medication pamphlets! I always wanted to help others and make a difference in their lives. I moved to the United States several years ago to pursue the best training here. After I finished my residency training, I completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry in one of the most distinguished programs in the United States. Beside work, I like to spend time with my family and friends, and enjoy the weather.
Practicing medicine is a very unique opportunity to connect with and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what members need. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their innermost secrets, fears, and hopes. It’s a privilege to help members understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, get them appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family. I’m very glad I can make a difference in my members’ lives.
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of living well in mind, body, and spirit, and try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my first priority. I enjoy family outings to soccer games. My wife, three sons, and I enjoy summer camping trips, reading, movies, and quiet family time at home.
