Acerca de mí
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. Please call me Brandon. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician at Kaiser Permanente.
I grew up in Singapore. I attended medical school in Ireland, and was fortunate to receive my postgraduate general surgery residency training in North Carolina. I then completed my vascular surgery training in Loma Linda University Medical center, after which I was in private practice for four years in Kentucky. I returned to Southern California to be closer to family. I have been practicing as a vascular surgeon for the past six years. I feel fortunate to be able to work at Kaiser Permanente as a clinician, providing the best possible care for our members in the Southern California. I have wanted to be a physician since a young age when my grandmother had a stroke.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
Medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their innermost secrets, fears, and hopes; it is a privilege to help patients understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
Cómo vivo bien
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of health in body, mind, and spirit, and try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings to the beach. I try to remain active with my wife and daughter, and I enjoy travelling to different countries, learning different cultures and appreciating history. During my free time, I love spending quality time with my family, travelling, and movies.
