Acerca de mí
Welcome! I am glad to have a chance to introduce myself to you and to share information about my practice.
Although I was born in San Francisco, I moved to Southern California along with my family when I was child and grew up here. I did my undergraduate work at USC, where I was a member of the two-time national championship women’s volleyball team. It was during that time that I fully understood the importance of being part of a team, which ultimately affected my views on the practice of medicine. For me, practicing medicine means being part of team in which I work with my patients and my colleagues to deliver high-quality care for each individual. After college, I worked as a research assistant at Stanford University for a year prior to attending podiatric medical school in the Bay Area. Upon completion of my residency program in Arizona, I moved back to my home in Southern California. I am married and have two boys. Our family actively participates in school events together, as well as church, scouting, and sports activities.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I have worked at Kaiser Permanente since completing my residency program. I appreciate being part of an organization in which patient care is truly integrated, and I deeply respect this system of health care delivery. In developing treatment plans, I can communicate with my patients’ primary care providers, as well as their other specialists. It’s great to be able to incorporate the assessments of colleagues when I need to in order to provide my patients with quality care.
Cómo vivo bien
I believe that it is important to have balance in your life between work and family. I have enjoyed volunteering for my children's school activities, helping them with their projects, and watching their sports activities. I am also involved in a local community service organization. I believe that this helps me maintain a positive outlook in my life.
