Acerca de mí
Thank you for choosing Kaiser Permanente for your medical needs. I am grateful for the opportunity to share information about my credentials, areas of expertise, and practice philosophy with you. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your physician, and I hope that this introduction will begin that process.
My interest in medicine arose from my early interactions with health care providers as a young athlete with a variety of sports injuries. Participation in various volunteer medical trips helped to intensify my interest in medicine as a career. I completed my training in the Harvard Combined Orthopedic Program. I then spent a year of additional subspecialty training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at New York City's prestigious Lenox Hill Hospital. There I served as a team physician for local colleges and universities and as an assistant physician for the New York Jets football team. I participated in a second subspecialty fellowship in orthopedic trauma surgery in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I began working at Kaiser Permanente in 2005.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
The primary focuses of my practice are sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, with an emphasis on injuries and degenerative conditions of the shoulder and knee. I have a secondary focus on orthopedic trauma surgery. I feel fortunate to be able to work at a national and international level. I have participated in multiple volunteer orthopedic surgery trips internationally. I am the course director for Operation Arthroscopy Vietnam and host a surgical conference there.
Cómo vivo bien

I maintain a very active physical lifestyle, playing soccer and volleyball, running, biking, surfing, weight training, salsa dancing, and participating in triathlons, including the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Triathlon.
