Acerca de mí
Welcome to my Web page! I am happy to have the opportunity to introduce you to my practice and to share some information about myself.
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Maryland and moved to Northern California to complete my undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley. I then completed my medical degree at UC San Francisco, where I was part of the PRIME-US program, an endeavor to support students passionate about promoting health equity and caring for underserved communities. Through this program, I completed a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in maternal and child health at UC Berkeley. My experiences in medical school caring for pregnant patients and those with gynecologic issues led me to develop a passion for women’s health. I moved down to Los Angeles to complete my residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at LAC+USC Medical Center, where I fell in love with the sunny weather, beautiful beaches, and wide variety of delicious food.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I feel incredibly honored to have the opportunity to care for women across all stages of life, during periods of good health and illness. I strive to create an environment where members feel safe, comfortable, listened to, and cared for. As a doctor, I highly value the ability to help members with their health concerns, individualize member care, conduct thorough medical evaluations, provide appropriate medical and surgical treatments, follow members through their pregnancies and childbirth, and ensure that members and families have all their questions answered. It is important to me that members feel that they have a good understanding of their health and feel empowered to live healthy lifestyles.
Cómo vivo bien
Living a balanced life is very important to me. When I’m not at work, you can find me enjoying one of my various hobbies, including cooking (especially Filipino food!), traveling, gardening, keeping houseplants, maintaining an aquarium, going to the beach, and spending time with my family and pets (including a dog and several parrots). I thrive by exercising regularly and greatly enjoy biking, hiking, and swimming.
