Warmest greetings to you! Thank you for taking a moment to get to know me, and learn about my approach to helping members lead healthy and happy lives.
I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where I attended college at John Carroll University, and medical school at Wright State University. I came to Bakersfield, to do my family medicine residency at Kern Medical Center under Dr. Navin Amin, my program director and mentor. I am grateful for the opportunity to practice at Kaiser Permanente, and just love the people I work with – my colleagues, staff, and, most especially, my patients!
I am a family practitioner, which means I treat people of all ages with all kinds of medical conditions. My practice has a special focus on preventive care and women’s health. I chose to become a family practitioner because I love treating people of all ages from newborns to 90 year-olds. In fact, my patients include four generations of a single family! I am passionate about what I do, and truly care about all of my patients. I treat each patient as I would want to be treated.
To maintain my own wellness, I strive to lead a balanced life. I seize the day, and enjoy many things outside of work: spending time with family and friends, Zumba, running, working out in the gym, playing the piano, ballroom and Latin dancing, cooking and baking, traveling around the world, volunteering at my church, reading, and tending my garden. I also enjoy watching baseball, basketball, and football, attending cultural events, musicals, and concerts. My Roman Catholic faith is so very important to me, and is the center of my life. It is what keeps me grounded and pointed in the right direction.
