Acerca de mí
Welcome to my Web page. Here, you will be able to find out some more information about me as well as my journey as a medical doctor.
I was born in Houston and moved to Los Angeles with my family when I was one year old. I come from a family of orthopedic surgeons; two of my uncles inspired me when I was a young boy. I was able to watch them perform surgery and went on to assist other surgeons as they helped the needy, both in the United States and in missions to small, underserved cities in Mexico. I loved the work, so I decided that I would become a doctor. I got my bachelor degree in science in biochemistry at UCLA. After I finished my medical training, I moved back to beautiful Southern California.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
One of my patients recently made me a key chain that says "Dr. Pain Free." I take care of patients with bone, joint, and musculoskeletal problems. I deal with many parts of the body but joint replacements are my subspecialty. Doing these types of surgeries allows patients to regain a new outlook on life through a better quality of life—a life that is hopefully pain free!
Cómo vivo bien
It's important to me to live a balanced life. I have two young children who keep me on my toes and busy at home. I must admit, however, that I sometimes bring work home with me because I have so many interesting cases. My wife, who is a physician's assistant, sets me straight. I enjoy the outdoors and like to hike, golf, fish, play tennis and other sports. I have recently gotten into aquariums and built a 200-gallon African cichlid tank that the whole family enjoys. As a musician, I find that playing the piano helps me release some of the tension that builds up from time to time.
