Acerca de mí
Hello! My friends and family call me Mary. Thank you for browsing my Web page. I hope it provides you with some valuable information about me to help you decide if you would like to choose me as your physician.
I was born and raised in San Diego. In fact, I was born at Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center. My family, as well as my husband's family, still live in San Diego. My family is from Vietnam and my husband's family is from the Philippines. I grew up knowing that I wanted to be a family doctor or a teacher, because I wanted a challenging career and, more importantly, I wanted to make a difference. As a family physician, I get to do both. I'm very grateful that I have the opportunity to help our members. I hope this is something I can continue to do for many years at Kaiser Permanente.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I take care of everyone from children to the elderly. I also like to do minor office procedures. I speak Vietnamese fluently. I grew up in a very traditional Vietnamese home and can relate well to common practices and beliefs of people from that culture. When someone comes to see me, I give them my full time and attention. I love taking care of entire families, from the little ones all the way to the grandparents. I have a Doctor of Osteopathy degree but do not do osteopathic manipulation.
Cómo vivo bien
For me, a balanced life means spending time with my husband and our families. I love to cook and have been doing it since I was 12 years old. I like hiking and being anywhere that's sunny, which is why I've never strayed far from San Diego. I also like to relax and watch funny movies or read a good book. Not much is better than sitting down with a warm drink and getting lost in a novel, except maybe a Chargers game! To keep myself well balanced, I meditate in the morning and in the evening. I'd like to think of myself as someone who has fun doing almost anything. I'm not hard to please at all - as long as I get to eat! My favorite thing to do is to try new or exotic foods, and if I can do it while traveling, all the better.
