Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician at Kaiser Permanente. I’m a radiologist. I started working at the San Diego Medical Center in 2002. I feel fortunate to be able to work at Kaiser Permanente.
I’m originally from Bethesda, Maryland. I first moved to California when I attended Stanford University School of Medicine. After finishing medical school, I moved to Boston to complete my medical training. I completed a radiology residency program at Deaconess Hospital—a major teaching hospital of Harvard University. I stayed at Deaconess Hospital for an additional year to do a cross-sectional imaging fellowship. After finishing my training, I worked in Boston in private practice. In 2002, my family and I moved to San Diego, where I was fortunate to join Kaiser Permanente.
I very much enjoy the practice of radiology. Radiology is a constantly changing, growing medical specialty. Recent advances in technology allow for more accurate diagnosis and detection of diseases than has been possible in the past. As a radiologist, I enjoy working as a consultant with other Kaiser Permanente physicians. Together, we work to optimize member care.
My family life is my major priority. I enjoy spending time with my family, whether it’s relaxing at home, or attending my children's school or sporting events. My family and I enjoy traveling. I also make it a priority to find time to read and exercise.
