Acerca de mí
Thank you for visiting my Web page. Here you will find information about my practice and me as well as how Kaiser Permanente can better serve you and your family. My priority is to help you achieve your best possible health. I truly want you to live a healthy life and to feel great.
I was born in Ventura, California. My parents were born in China (I do not speak Chinese, however). I have five brothers and sisters. I grew up in Orange County. I attended USC for both undergraduate and medical school. I also trained in internal medicine in Los Angeles. I moved to San Diego with my husband when he accepted a fellowship in cardiology at UC San Diego in 1990, and I have been in San Diego and working for Kaiser Permanente in San Diego ever since.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I have been at Point Loma Medical Offices since I started at Kaiser Permanente. My patients’ ages range from late teens to late 90s.I enjoy getting to know my patients on a more personal level, as I believe getting to know you can help me find solutions to the health challenges you might face. I enjoy practicing medicine. I like to think I’m always doing my best for my patients, and I feel honored that they trust me with their health issues. I am an optimistic person, so I like to think my patients are always doing their part to stay healthy, such as trying to lose weight if they are overweight or taking their medication when they are supposed to. Kaiser Permanente’s Point Loma Medical Offices is a facility I’m proud to be associated with. My staff is great; they work so hard and really care about our members.
Cómo vivo bien
My family keeps me grounded. I have a great husband and three wonderful kids. I enjoy cooking, eating all types of food, reading (especially mysteries that aren’t too gory), and gardening. I collect snow globes and cookbooks. I always have goals. My current goal is to use the pedometer and walk 10,000 steps a day. It’s easy when I have to play with my son after work. Another of my goals is to try to stay on time. Unfortunately, I seldom reach that goal. I tend to run behind schedule because I spend a lot of time with my patients. I just think it’s important to do my best and hope that it’s good enough, whether for family or work.
