Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit my Web page! I hope you'll learn a little about me and my desire to care for your health.
San Diego was my home as a child, but my medical education took me out of sunny California to the cold winters of Chicago. After graduating from Rush Medical College, I returned to Southern California to complete my residency training in family medicine at Kaiser Permanente's Fontana Medical Center. I went back to the Midwest for three years and then finally settled in the Inland Empire. I have been with Kaiser Permanente for more than 25 years and feel very blessed to be a part of this organization. I find there is little better in life than to have the chance to fulfill my passions of profession and family.
It was not too difficult for me to choose family medicine as my specialty because I wanted to be involved in all aspects of my patients' medical care. I find it quite fulfilling as well as challenging! It has also given me the opportunity to branch out by using Kaiser Permanente's online tools. I see members as much as possible and stay in touch online through the secure messaging at Kaiser Permanente.org, even when I'm out of the office. What a wonderful tool this is, to allow members to contact my office from virtually anywhere and at any time! If you are a patient of mine, please try it. I'll do my best to get back to you in a timely fashion.
I take time to exercise regularly - every day, if possible. I currently walk, ride a stationary bicycle, and lift weights or otherwise work out for 30-60 minutes a day. I also eat a well-balanced, whole-food, plant-based diet. My work life is very busy, but I get balance by spending cherished time with family, friends, and at church.
