Hi there! Thanks for visiting my Web page. Let me share a little bit about myself so you can get to know me better.
I grew up in Riverside and have seen huge changes over the years. On the good side, you can now see the mountains on most days of the year! On the bad side, the traffic keeps getting worse. I love science and helping people, so early in college I decided to become a physician. I went to medical school at UC San Diego. I became an anesthesiologist and practiced for 10 years. Still, I wasn’t satisfied, so I did a residency in family medicine with Kaiser Permanente. I began focusing on preventive care and building long-term relationships with my members. I completed my three-year residency and became board-certified in family medicine. I’m really happy to be working at Kaiser Permanente.
I want to be your partner in health. I see the young and the old, in sickness and in health. I like being a medical sleuth and figuring out what is wrong when you are sick. I love learning about what you do and what the important relationships are in your life. I find satisfaction in explaining your diagnosis and treatment plan in an easy-to-understand way. I want to help you set and achieve your health goals, whether it’s losing weight, stopping smoking, starting an exercise program, or getting your diabetes better controlled. I want to help you find your motivation to live a healthy life.
I stay balanced by leading a healthy lifestyle—eating a balanced diet, spending time with my loving family, getting enough sleep, and keeping a spiritual focus in my life through prayer and meditation. I exercise by walking and doing spin classes at the gym on weekends. I play golf, racquetball, and tennis. I ride bicycles on the Santa Ana River bike trail and go on weekend hikes with my wife and three teenagers.
