Acerca de mí
Hello, and welcome! I’d like to introduce myself to you and tell you about my background, training, and practice philosophy.
I was born and raised in Orange County, went to college in the Bay Area, and then moved to the Midwest for medical school and training in internal medicine. I moved back to Los Angeles to complete my fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and joined the Kaiser Permanente family soon afterward. I’m glad to be back in Southern California, and I am excited to be practicing in Woodland Hills and Ventura County.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
My office-based practice specializes in the care of people with lung and respiratory diseases. My hospital duties include consultation and management of members who are hospitalized with pulmonary conditions. Also, I provide intensive care unit physician services to the most critically ill patients in the hospital. My philosophy is to provide timely, compassionate care. I truly want to understand the perspectives of members and their families, so we can make appropriate personalized decisions. I feel very privileged to work with a very talented group of physicians in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Department, as well as with our amazing office and hospital staff who make this job possible.
Cómo vivo bien
I think it is very important to keep perspective and balance in life and to stay physically active. After a long day at work I find it relaxing to go for a jog or work on strength and conditioning. I enjoy keeping up with the latest movies, whether they are playing in a theater or, as is more common these days, streaming at home. I’m naturally curious about the outside world and enjoy keeping up with news around the globe and then matching what I read to my experiences when traveling.
