Acerca de mí
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I was born in Taiwan and moved to the United States when I was 12 years old. I attended UC Berkeley for my undergraduate studies, and earned my medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Since starting college, I had always been fascinated by the intricacies of the human brain and the nervous systems. I went on to complete my neurology residency and neurophysiology fellowship training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. I also attended the J. Kiffin Penry Mini-Fellowship in Epilepsy at Wake Forest University. I am board certified and a diplomat of American Board of Psychology and Neurology.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente I worked in private practice for many years in the Los Angeles area, which has given me I broad experience in evaluating and treating different neurological conditions. I believe that medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. I feel very honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.
Cómo vivo bien
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of health in mind, body, and spirit, and try to live it in my life every day. When I am not practicing medicine, I like to spend time with my family such as going to the park, camping, or playing tennis. I also love to volunteer in community activities.
