Welcome, and thank you for visiting my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I feel fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of all the wonderful colleagues and members I get to work with, and I look forward to working with you to take care of your health care needs.
I was born and raised in Chicago. I completed my ophthalmology residency at Indiana University and my medical retina and uveitis fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. I moved to Los Angeles with my husband after completing my fellowship. I decided to join Kaiser Permanente as it allowed me to be a part of an organization that emphasizes comprehensive, member-centered care.
I am a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical retina and uveitis. My main goals are to work together with members to come up with a diagnosis and treatment strategy and for members to leave the office with a strong understanding of their retinal findings. I perform in-office procedures including retinal lasers and injections, and I work in conjunction with surgical retina specialists to manage the full spectrum of retinal pathology.
Working for Kaiser Permanente helps me see the value of balance in life. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. As a Midwest transplant to Los Angeles, I have enjoyed exploring the different beaches and hiking trails. I also enjoy travelling, experiencing different cultures, and seeing movies.
