Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members.
I am a native of Southern Californian and was actually born at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and did my undergraduate work at UC San Diego. I attended medical school at Rush University in Chicago, and received my postgraduate training at the Medical Center of Delaware, USC, and Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
As a radiologist at Kaiser Permanente I am able to practice both general radiology and my areas of subspecialty, which include neuroradiology and pediatric radiology. I also like teaching physics and medicine to our residents. I am supported in my practice by an outstanding team of colleagues both within and outside my areas of specialty. Having lived in different parts of the country, I am happy to be back practicing in my "hometown" of Los Angeles, with its ethnic and cultural diversity and relatively warm winters.
I have two young children and most of my life outside of work is centered on my family. When I have the chance (or a babysitter), I enjoy going to bookstores or coffee shops or bookstores with coffee shops or coffee shops with books. My wife and l also like going to movies. I used to ski and golf but I haven't done these in a while. I also used to play racquetball a lot but stopped for a few years ago, and when I tried to get back into it the racquets had grown to twice the size and it didn't seem to me like the same game anymore. I'd rather play with my kids. I thrive on sushi, coffee, jalapeno peppers, science, science fiction, nerdy science things and run-on sentences.
