Acerca de mí
I am a physician/anesthesiologist who works with Kaiser Permanente members undergoing surgeries and other procedures/situations requiring sedation/anesthetization, pain control, nerve blocks, neuraxial blocks, airway management, difficult intravascular line placement, or resuscitation. I, along with the rest of the Kaiser Permanente Orange County anesthesiology group, am also well versed in ensuring proper patient optimization prior to surgery.
I finished my residency/specialization in anesthesiology in 2015 and began working at Kaiser Permanente soon after. During residency, I received the Resident Teacher of the Year award and became Lean Six Sigma (efficiency/quality control) certified. I obtained my medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, my master of arts in medical science from Boston University School of Medicine, and my bachelor of science in biochemistry and cell biology from UC San Diego, where I was honored on the National Dean’s List and also earned a music minor.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
Kaiser Permanente’s mission is to provide high-quality, affordable health care services and improve overall health in the communities the organization serves. I believe that this mission is served by striving to provide the best possible health care to our patients and by constantly seeking to improve ourselves as practitioners, while making our care as affordable as possible with frequent quality/efficiency improvement projects.

“Family” is my secret to healthy living: both the family that’s given and the family that’s chosen. I spend most of my free time “making memories” with my son, wife, brothers (I have 5), parents, and friends. To keep body and spirit healthy, I go to the gym 5 days per week, where I play basketball, tennis, soccer; swim; and lift weights. Recently, I began meditating 20 minutes per day.
