Acerca de mí
Welcome to my Web page. I'm glad you’re taking the time to read over this page. I feel it’s very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I come from a long line of physicians—starting with my grandfather and continuing on to my father, aunts, uncles, and even my own sister. It’s been a wonderful and fulfilling tradition to take part in. I was born in New York—after my parents emigrated from Taiwan—but I’ve lived most of my life in California with a little time in New England. I completed my undergraduate and medical training at Brown University in Rhode Island, and earned my Master’s in Public Health degree from Harvard University. I'm glad to be back in California where I can take part in its unique and diverse culture and food.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I work with an excellent group of obstetricians and gynecologists at Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center who share with me the philosophy of providing our best care to our members. We all believe in Kaiser Permanente’s emphasis on preventive medicine and care. I feel my job as a physician is to help keep you healthy, and I’ve started to adopt a more holistic approach to care as a result. I look forward to working with you in maintaining your health and always welcome questions to my office either by email or phone messages.
Cómo vivo bien
I maintain a balance of work and play in my life through a number of hobbies and sports. I grew up playing tennis and practicing taekwondo and have learned to SCUBA dive. I enjoy playing board games and cards with my family. We live close to the San Gabriel Mountains and love hiking the various paths. I also love to travel and experience different cultures and foods—whether it’s to the Galapagos Islands or closer to home at Mammoth Lakes. My philosophy in life is that every person and every place has something to offer, so I try to keep an open mind.
