Acerca de mí
Hi, I'm Dr. Lee and I'm a general internist working at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles . I specialize in caring for adults 18 years and older. I'm a great believer in keeping healthy during one's young adult years. By leading a healthy lifestyle, I believe that young adults can thrive during their later adult years. Counseling my younger patients of the importance of prevention during visits is emotionally rewarding to me. We know that keeping aerobically fit and physically trim as young and middle age adults leads to health benefits as older adults. This is a theme that I am always reminding my patients, regardless of age. Caring for adults of all ages is what I do best. My desire is to have all of my patients lead a healthy lifestyle so that they can thrive as they get older. I want to help guide my patients so that they can prevent disease and disability.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I chose to become a doctor so that I could help others. I am honored that I can play a significant role in my patients' lives. I spend most of my time, outside of work, with my wife and my three young children. My wife and I are constantly shuttling our children from one activity to another. I'm always amazed at the demands in taking care of young children.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I enjoy caring for adults of all ages, younger and older. I believe that the lifestyle we adopt while we are young is critical in thriving when we are older. I believe in preventative medicine by keeping active and taking medications when directed by a physician. I believe that walking 45 minutes, five days a week (or any other aerobic activity for 45 minutes several times a week) will keep you physically and emotionally healthy while you are younger, but the health benefits will accrue when you are older. I believe in taking the stairs, and not the elevators; I believe that parking far away from the store, rather than seeking that prime parking slot, is a mindset that will keep you healthy. I believe that patients should be empowered with the knowledge of how to keep themselves healthy. The most important component in keeping healthy is for a patient to be willing to do what is necessary to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Eat less, exercise more, and take your medications as directed

I thrive by exercising with my family and eating appropriately. Outside of work, I spend all of my time with my family. It is my hope that my children adopt the same healthy lifestyle as their parents.
