Acerca de mí
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician in the Department of Gastroenterology.
I was born in Montreal, Canada, and lived there for 10 years before moving to Connecticut. After completing my undergraduate education and medical school training in Connecticut, I moved to Los Angeles where I had my internship and residency. I then moved back to New England to do my fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology in Boston before returning to Southern California. One of the most important factors in my pursuing a career in medicine was the example of the tireless, selfless dedication of my father, whose passion as a pediatrician was inspiring.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
As a physician, I believe that providing the best care possible means not losing sight of our patients and our obligation to do what is best for each patient. Our department here at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center includes seven gastroenterologists who are committed to providing diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, biliary tree, and liver, based on the latest research and advances in the field. Our advanced endoscopic suites allow us to perform a full range of endoscopic procedures in a safe and comfortable setting.

I believe in finding balance in all that we do in order to maximize health, happiness, and our ability to embrace and adapt to life's many challenges. For me as well as for my patients, critical components of this process include regular exercise, adequate sleep, stress reduction, preventive health care (including colorectal cancer screening), and a balanced diet high in fiber and low in saturated fat.
