Acerca de mí
Hi! I am Dr. Ghadishah. As an Emergency Department doctor for Kaiser Permanente here in the Antelope Valley, I take care of a wide range of medical emergencies. While I hope you never need my services, all of us here at Kaiser Permanente are ready to assist you.
I come from a long line of physicians. As a doctor, my dad was always very generous with his time and provided many pro bono services. He set a good example and motivated me to enter the field of medicine. I attended UCLA as an undergraduate and then went on to UC Irvine for my medical training. I attended medical school, interned, and completed my residency at UC Irvine. A number of my attending physicians were affiliated with Kaiser Permanente and recommended it highly. I took their advice, and I've been here since 2001. I’ve found it to be a terrific system for both members and staff.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
People sometimes forget that an Emergency Department doesn't work like a drive-through restaurant. We don't necessarily treat people in the order they arrive. Rather, we treat the sickest people first. Someone who has just had a stroke or heart attack, by necessity, takes priority over those with non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries. We want you to know you are important to us, but sometimes when several critically ill or injured people arrive or require extraordinary measures, you may have to wait a while. I encourage members and their families to ask questions. I'll always answer them as honestly as possible. To ensure that our Emergency Department staff can address your concerns, as well as those of other members, please designate one family member as your point of contact with the hospital. This individual can then relay questions and answers between other family members and our hardworking staff. Thanks for helping out in this way.

I really enjoy working in the controlled chaos of the emergency room, but with three small children, I don't get much down time. When I'm not on duty or spending quality time with my kids, I try to get a little sleep! Such is the life of an emergency physician. Work is crazy, but I love it.
