Acerca de mí
Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I strongly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s focus on a strong member-physician relationship, and treating the health of the entire person—mind, body, and spirit. The physicians I work with have trained at some of the best medical programs in the country. I trust my own medical care—and that of my family—to Kaiser Permanente.
I chose to become a physician in order to be a neurologist. I’ve always been fascinated by the workings of the human brain. The field of neurology is constantly changing and progressing—we now have treatments available for a number of disorders that were not available even 10 years ago. As new treatments continue to develop, neurology will continue to be an exciting area of medicine.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I do my very best to listen closely to what you have to say, and I know how important it can be to give you the time to say it. Every day I’m amazed at how much I learn from my members. I try to offer you what I would look for in my own doctor. A good bedside manner is critical, and I strive to deliver. One field of neurology that I have a special interest in is stroke care. I’ve been the director of Kaiser Permanente's Primary Stroke Center at South Bay Medical Center since the Joint Commission approved it in 2012.
Cómo vivo bien
It’s important to me to have a creative outlet to keep my mind healthy. I enjoy playing the guitar on a daily basis. I play the bass guitar in an all–Kaiser Permanente physician rock band. We’ve played gigs at a number of venues throughout Southern California and made it to the semi-finals of Forbes Fortune 500 Battle of the Bands! I also enjoy spending as much time with my family as I can.
