Acerca de mí
Welcome to my Web page. I’m glad to have the opportunity to introduce myself. I’m an emergency medicine physician, and have been practicing at Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center for nearly ten years, and now I’ve also been practicing at the Kaiser Permanente Downey Medical Center for five years.
I was born in Vietnam and moved to Northern California when I was 10 years old. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at UC Davis, and then moved to New York to attend medical school at New York Medical College in Valhalla. After graduating from medical school, I moved to Southern California to do my residency in emergency medicine. Because of the beautiful weather of Southern California, my family and I decided to stay here, and I joined Kaiser Permanente. I love to travel to different countries and places in the world to experience the different cultures and food. When I’m abroad, I often offer my services as a doctor to the local hospitals and clinics. Helping take care of the patients at these small local clinics reminds me of the reasons I became a doctor.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
Emergency medicine is an important aspect of my life. I’m here to help you and take care of you. Your health is very important to me and I feel honored to be entrusted with your care. I feel that you should be treated as if you were a member of my own family because, as a Kaiser Permanente member, you do belong to a big family. I feel extremely fortunate to be part of the Kaiser Permanente family because it truly is a great organization for health care—all decisions about treatments are arrived at together by doctors, members, and their families. I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
Cómo vivo bien
I believe in the Kaiser Permanente philosophy of living well in mind, body, and spirit. I try to live a balanced life between work and family. I love to spend time with my wife and my three daughters—either traveling together or just spending a quiet weekend afternoon at home. I try to eat balance meals and exercise at least three times per week. I believe that staying healthy physically and mentally will enable me to stay focused and driven in my member care.
