Acerca de mí
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I was born in the beautiful island country of Taiwan (Formosa). I came from a big family and we have very close family relationship. My family had many friends who were doctors, and seeing them save and improve people's lives had a big impact on my career choice. After graduating from medical school in Taiwan, I came to the United States for further training. I did my residency training in windy Chicago, but now I enjoy living and working in sunny Southern California. I have a son and a daughter. From time to time, I go back to Taiwan and talk to people about Kaiser Permanente's great team approach to health care.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health. I strongly endorse a plant-based diet and regular exercise.
Cómo vivo bien
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's emphasis on the health and well-being of the whole person, and I try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I jog and practice Tai Chi. I enjoy my son's water polo games and my daughter's volleyball games. I am interested in collecting recipes for simple, healthy, delicious meals, and sometimes I cook. I also attend church regularly; the spiritual part of my life is very important to me. To truly thrive, we must take care of our mind, body, and spirit.
