Acerca de mí
Hi, I’m Dr. Ben Hakakha, half of the brothers Hakakha who work in Lancaster’s Obstetrics and Gynecology Department. I honestly believe we have assembled the best group of Ob/Gyn doctors you’ll find anywhere in the Antelope Valley. Women in any stage of life simply won’t find a better place to obtain quality health care with a smile.
Born and raised in Detroit, I come from a family of physicians, all of them Ob/Gyns. I’ve been a Southern Californian for more years than I like to admit. I attended medical school at Washington University in St. Louis and performed my internship and residency at UCLA Medical Center. I joined the Kaiser Permanente team in 1998 after some encouragement by my two mentors. They told me they were setting up a great practice in the Antelope Valley and would save a spot for me if I was interested. I came and have never regretted that decision. In addition to my practice, I also serve as an assistant clinical professor for UCLA. The Kaiser Permanente Ob/Gyn Department also works in concert with the university’s residency program to train new doctors.

We share a common concern for our members and do everything in our power to make you feel comfortable and at home with us. Cómo vivo bien
My wife and I have three children of our own, so we understand both the challenges and joys of parenthood. It is the hardest job you’ll ever undertake but worth every sleepless night. My children and my wife are my greatest joys, and I spend as much time with them as possible. About once a year, I set out on a road trip − riding my motorcycle up the coast through Big Sur. I’ve taken the trip on countless occasions, yet each time I feel renewed with inner peace.
