Acerca de mí
Hello, and thanks for visiting my Web page. I am board certified by the American Board Of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
I graduated from Assiut University, Faculty of Medicine in Assiut, Egypt. After graduation, I completed my residency in Ob/Gyn in Assiut. After moving to America, I worked at UCLA as a research fellow and while there I published extensively. I joined Kaiser Permanente in August of 2007. I was born and raised in Assiut, Egypt, which is about 250 miles south of Cairo. At a young age, I decided that I would become a physician, and medicine would become my life's passion. My efforts were rewarded when I achieved a high score on the final high school exam, which allowed me to be accepted into a six-year medical school. I remained at the top of my class throughout medical school and graduated in 1983. I will help members explore their options, and assist them in arriving at the best approach for managing their condition, while providing them the highest quality of service. When I was a research fellow at UCLA I worked on large projects such as DPP (Diabetes Prevention Program), IRAS family study (Insulin Resistance and Atherosclerosis Study), and many more. I have been involved in the supervision of other co-workers and I am able to work under adverse conditions of extreme pressure. Another aspect of my life, which has added to my interest in medicine, is the time I spent playing soccer, both in high school and in college. Through my work as a volunteer as well as my experiences in sports. I have realized that cooperating with people is much more effective than trying to do everything yourself. When people come together, they can really make a difference in other people's lives.

I enjoy cycling. Growing up it was my choice of transportation and as a teen; I competed in races to stay fit. As an adult, I still enjoy this luxury and I try to cycle every weekend. By making healthy choices such as quitting smoking, drinking responsibly, managing your weight, eating a healthy diet, obtaining recommended health screenings, and exercising, you can achieve this goal.
