Acerca de mí
Welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have the opportunity to share with you a little information about myself and my practice at Kaiser Permanente. As a physician, I feel privileged to have the opportunity to learn about my members, and I hope this page will provide you with the chance to learn about me.
I was born in Taiwan and immigrated to the U.S. when I was 9. I had a brief stay here in San Diego but later moved to the Northeast to complete my education. I attended Johns Hopkins University and majored in biomedical and chemical engineering. After graduating, I worked as a biomaterial process engineer for a biotech company in New York City. While my work as an engineer was intellectually challenging, I felt deprived of the personal interactions that I experienced when I worked as a volunteer. As a result, I decided to make a career change and attended medical school at SUNY Stony Brook. I later completed my internal medicine training at the University of Virginia.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
I am thrilled to work as a hospital-based internal medicine physician, where I am involved in all aspects of member care, from medical to surgical. I work with a group of similar-minded physicians who strive to provide excellent standards of care.
Cómo vivo bien
I stay well by achieving a balance between work and my personal life. I am privileged to be able to come to work at a job that I’m passionate about. While working in the hospital can be stressful at times, I enjoy going home to relax with my family and friends afterwards. My wife and I love traveling around the world, meeting different people and experiencing their cultures. We are always looking forward to our next adventure.
