Acerca de mí
Welcome to my Web page. I have been an interventional radiologist at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills since August 2002. I became the assistant chief of radiology in July 2007. I hope my web page answers your questions about my medical credentials and gives you insight into my subspecialty and interests.
I graduated from medical school in India and completed my surgical residency there. Following this, I came to the United States and completed both my radiology residency and interventional radiology fellowship at USC. Having traveled the country extensively on vacations, I decided I wanted to practice medicine in Southern California because I love it here, so I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2002 as an interventional radiologist. I am married and have an adorable daughter. My family and I enjoy traveling, both to our national parks and international destinations.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
The interventional radiology team consists of doctors like me, technicians, and nurses. We work together to provide information to the patients and their families about procedures and patient care. As a field that is constantly evolving with the advances in technology and imaging, I attend conferences, attend hands-on courses, and read medical journals to update myself. As a team, we take great pride in helping anyone who needs our service.
Cómo vivo bien
My wife and I are lifelong vegetarians, and we are raising our daughter as a vegetarian also. We are firm believers in eating dinner together as a family every day. We limit the time we watch TV. My daughter has been a wonderful counterbalance to my everyday busy life. I enjoy spending time with her in the evenings and on the weekends, listening to classical music, taking her to the park or just playing games/chess watching movies with her at home. Every so often, my family and I just get in the car and take a road trip to the mountains or the coast, to get away from our everyday routines. We encourage people to spend more time with family, outside work. My hobbies include playing chess and listening to music.
