Acerca de mí
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I'm glad to have the chance to share some information about myself. I am a physician practicing in the Emergency Department and the wound clinic at Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center.
While I have been practicing emergency medicine for several years, I am relatively new to Kaiser Permanente, having started here in 2009. I was born and raised in New York City. I attended Queens College, City University of New York, where I received my bachelor’s degree in biology, and I received my medical degree at the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine. I trained in emergency medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. I did fellowship training in undersea and hyperbaric medicine (oxygen therapy) at the University of Pennsylvania, where I got my introduction to wound care. Upon moving to Southern California, I practiced emergency and hyperbaric medicine and wound care at several different hospitals.
Acerca de mi práctica médica
We have an excellent multidisciplinary team at the Panorama City Medical Center Emergency Department, consisting of caring physicians, nurses, paramedics, specialists, respiratory therapists, care managers, and radiation technologists. We always try to provide a thorough and expedient emergency evaluation and help determine the best course of treatment. In the Wound Clinic, I am available to evaluate members with problem wounds and aid in the healing process through the use of specialized wound-care products and techniques. Wound healing is a complex process, often requiring several different treatments and consultants. I am here to facilitate this process and to help heal our members.
