About Me

I'm originally from Sacramento, California, but I came to Colorado at age 18 to attend CU Boulder. I completed a Spanish language and culture undergraduate, including a year abroad in Chile. I immediately fell in love with Colorado and knew it was my new home. The only significant time I have spent out of Colorado since arriving was attending nursing school at Columbia University in New York. I returned to Colorado and completed my degree as a family nurse practitioner at CU Denver. I became a nurse practitioner to help people live healthier, happier lives.

About my practice

Before becoming a nurse practitioner (NP), I was a registered nurse in an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) practice. Then, I became intrigued by otolaryngology, which is why I sought a position as an ENT NP. As a trained family nurse practitioner, I enjoy treating patients of all ages. I enjoy working with patients’ primary care providers to get them the best care. I am a general ENT NP seeing all types of ENT-related patients and perform most in-office ENT procedures, including oral biopsies, incision and drainage of ENT abscesses, nasal endoscopy, flexible laryngoscopy, myringotomy, and wax removal, among others.

How I thrive

I am happily married with 2 sons and 2 rescue puppies. Outside of work, I love hiking, camping, mountain biking, and experiencing everything Colorado has to offer in the outdoors with my family. We also enjoy spending time with close friends, trying new foods, and cooking together. As my boys get older, it's fun to see them compete in their sporting events and thrive in our CO community.
