About Me
Welcome to my Web page. While most Kaiser Permanente members rarely have direct contact with radiologists, please be assured that my colleagues and I are here to provide you with the best care possible to help your personal physician take care of you.
Biography
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I went to UCLA for my undergraduate studies (go Bruins!) and also went to UCLA Medical School, where I received my medical degree in 1981. I met my wife while we were undergraduates at UCLA, and we have three great children.
About my practice
As a radiologist, I specialize in medical diagnostic imaging. This includes interpretation of CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasounds, and mammograms. About 30 to 40 per cent of my practice involves breast imaging, including reading of screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, and breast ultrasounds, as well as performing biopsies of suspicious breast abnormalities.
How I thrive
I make a point of exercising regularly, which includes weight training (strength training) as well as aerobic training, as time allows. When possible, I like to take walks with my wife. I try to eat well, but I do enjoy succumbing to temptation, especially chocolate (in moderation!). I enjoy vacations with my wife and family, backpacking and hiking in the summer, and going to UCLA football and basketball games.
