About Me
I grew up in upstate New York, but have been a "Southerner" for about 14 years. My husband and I recently moved to Atlanta from South Carolina, where I had my medical training. From a young age, I knew that I wanted to be a pediatrician. As a little girl, I doctored and bandaged my teddy bears and dolls. I now have the privilege of working with children and their families to help keep them healthy.
About my practice
Pediatrics is such a fun field of medicine! I love establishing lasting relationships with patients and families. It is a joy to be able to partner with our members and parents in helping their children grow up to be healthy and strong. I like being able to calm fears, answer questions and provide quality medical advice. I am a firm believer in the importance of preventive medicine, immunizations, healthy living and good nutrition. I am not completely fluent in Spanish, but can speak the language fairly well and enjoy practicing and learning more from our members and families.
How I thrive
There are many activities I enjoy in addition to practicing pediatrics. For exercise, my husband and I go to the gym or walk outside almost every day. My faith is important to me, and I am very involved in my church. I love spending time with my family and friends. In my free time, I also like to travel, read historical fiction, play piano and guitar, cook and paint watercolors.
