About Me

I spent my first 32 years living in Massachusetts, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. ROTC led to 13 years in the Army starting at Walter Reed in D.C., followed by Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, and Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Family in Denver and Boulder and the opportunity to serve in a model health care organization prompted our move to this area. We are excited to call Boulder home.

About my practice

I enjoy being a urologist and feel fortunate to be able to provide a variety of surgical procedures encompassing general urology. Clinical medicine is an important part of urology and I value the relationships I form with my patients over time. I believe in shared and informed decision making. By helping patients understand various treatment options, I support and empower them to make decisions that best fit their lifestyle and maximize quality of life. I look forward to making a positive impact on patients’ quality of life and feel that the Kaiser Permanente model of health care delivery is optimal for wellness and disease prevention.

How I thrive

My wife and I feel like we’ve barely scratched the surface of what Colorado has to offer. We enjoy exploring the natural beauty of this state on foot, bicycle and skis. Our son and Goldendoodle have boundless energy and an infectious enthusiasm for life that gives us great joy. We look forward to future adventures here at home and throughout Colorado in the years to come.
