About Me

Welcome! I am a full-scope optometrist specializing in primary eye care. I am fluent in Mandarin and Spanish.

Biography

I completed my undergraduate studies at UC San Diego with a degree in general biology. I worked as a research scientist in immunology for 3 years and discovered my interest in optometry. I went on to attend the New England College of Optometry and obtain my doctor of optometry degree. I returned home to California and worked in private practice as a medical optometrist, where I also obtained my glaucoma certification. During this time, I was able to do full-scope optometry and teach Western Osteopathic Medical School students with my ophthalmologist. After private practice, I joined Kaiser Permanente, focusing on contact lens fittings for members with keratoconus, as well as primary care optometry. I have continued my passion for teaching by establishing a clerkship for Western Optometry School students. My husband and I have 2 daughters. I enjoy cooking, hiking, and spending time with family.

About my practice
