About Me
Hello, and welcome to my Web page! I love educating my patients, friends, and family members about improving their health. I am a firm believer in being my patients' healthcare teammate. I know it can be scary to walk into a doctor or dentist's office, but I hope to offer a loving and compassionate atmosphere for my patients.
Biography
I grew up in Chula Vista (San Diego) and moved to Northern California for college. After graduating from Stanford University I moved to Wisconsin to complete my medical school education at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Four years and multiple snow jackets later, I returned to sunny Southern California for my residency program training at Long Beach Memorial. I fell in love with Long Beach which is where I currently live.
About my practice
One of the main reasons I chose Kaiser Permanente was because of their dedication to preventive medicine. I am very passionate about empowering my patients with information and resources to maintain their health and happiness. I feel very fortunate to work in one of the newest Kaiser Permanente facilities, which is both beautiful and technologically advanced.
How I thrive
I maintain my mind and body by running, weight lifting, and boxing. I also love yoga and spin classes. My heart and soul are taken care of by my husband and two blue nose pit bulls (aka hippos).
