About Me

I grew up in the Chicago area and attended the United States Air Force Academy after high school. I received my medical degree from Rush Medical College in the late 1970s and spent the next 23 years serving in the U.S. Air Force as a family physician. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2002. I chose to practice medicine to give back to others what I could offer in both health service and quality care. I have been married since 1978. My wife and I have four daughters and eleven grandchildren.

About my practice

I have a part-time clinical practice at the Highlands Ranch Medical Offices. As a family physician, I am trained to care for members of all ages. I have a special interest in sports medicine and minor surgical procedures, and I enjoy taking care of children, teens and young families. Being a primary care physician, my approach to care includes the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of health. My hopes and goals are to manage your primary health care by focusing on service, quality and affordability.

How I thrive

I thrive by maintaining balance through faith and family, which allows me to live a healthy and prosperous life. Supporting my growing family and enjoying outdoor activities enables me to preserve a work environment that is both fun and challenging.
