About Me
Thank you for your interest in Kaiser Permanente and for visiting my Web page. Hopefully you will find helpful information here and some insight about me as a physician and as a person.
Biography
I moved to Southern California from the Midwest, where I was born and raised and completed all of my education and training. My wife and I have always enjoyed California and the diversity of activities that it offered. When I had the opportunity to join Kaiser Permanente it seemed like a great fit for us. Since moving to California and joining Kaiser Permanente, we have welcomed our first child and have a beautiful daughter now. Becoming a physician was always something I wanted to do, even from a young age. The desire probably started following an incident as a child that required emergency care. I appreciated those individuals that took care of me in my time of need and wanted to be able to return the favor some day.
About my practice
I take care of a very specific population of women: those with pelvic organ prolapse, vaginal prolapse (a feeling of a bulge of the vagina) and urinary incontinence.
How I thrive
I believe that staying active both physically and mentally is key to enjoying a full life. I enjoy snow skiing during the winter months and attending baseball games during the spring and summer with my wife and daughter. Another hobby is photography, which allows me to capture some of the best moments in life and share them with my family and friends.
