About Me
I was born in Atlanta, and was raised in the city of Stockbridge, Ga. I am grateful for the strong family values and commitment to community that was instilled in me while growing up in a small town. I am the youngest of five children and my parents still reside in Stockbridge.
About my practice
I am a board certified family physician. While I enjoy treating patients of all ages, my practice now focuses on adult medicine. I believe that health care has to be a team approach and the patient has to be an active part of that team. The concept of "shared decision-making" is key for developing strong relationships and healthy members.
How I thrive
I believe a person must have balance to thrive. I have participated in medical mission trips and have sponsored little league football and cheerleading teams. I have also been a counselor at diabetic and asthma camps for children. I enjoy yoga, dancing and singing, but traveling is what truly brings everything together for me. It is always exciting to see other lifestyles and to appreciate other cultures.
