About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am pleased to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician.

Biography

I’m a family medicine physician and have practiced for over 25 years around the world. After I graduated from medical school, I served as a physician in the Navy. I was stationed in California, Italy, and Japan, and ended up in Colorado. I first joined Kaiser Permanente in Colorado in 2004 and have now returned home to California. I come from a long line of doctors. One of my first childhood memories is my father taking me with him on hospital rounds. I later helped out in his office, and I knew then that I wanted to be a doctor when I grew up. So far, it has been very fulfilling.

About my practice

My medical philosophy is simple. I try to work with my patients to help them understand their conditions and the various options available to them. I strongly believe that people should understand their health care options and have a say in their treatments. I encourage dialogue and really believe that email has enhanced my ability to provide care.

How I thrive

I endeavor to exercise daily before coming to the clinic. This gets my circulation going and gives me much more energy for the whole day. I also do it to set a good example for my family and patients. I enjoy skiing, reading, basketball, and, of course, golf.
