About Me

I was born in Beirut, Lebanon, but my family immigrated to Okalahoma when I was five years old. I spent my childhood in Tulsa, OK and went on to complete my medical training in Okalahoma. Thereafter, I finished my residency in Georgia, where I had the wonderful opportunity to train in tropical diseases in Lima, Peru through an externship. This experience fostered by desire to work as a locum physician, traveling and practicing in many parts of the country as well as overseas. I have since settled down, gotten married and now have a little girl. I have many wonderful experiences in many locations, but have found Portland and Kaiser Permanente to be home.

About my practice

I practice as a hospitalist, which means I help take care of patients who need to stay in the hospital for acute care. As a group of hospitalists, we are one of the largest and best integrated hospitalist programs. I am pleased to be able to be part of a team that provides unparalled care for our patients.

How I thrive

My outlook on life starts at home. I believe one must focus on their personal well being in order to thrive. Spending time with my wife and daughter are integral to that, and I take advantage of that as much as I can. On my own time, I like to keep my self busy in my woodworking shop. Spending hours creating something out of nothing is incredibly calming and healing.
