About Me

Welcome to my Web page. My name is William Chin, and I am a noninvasive, non-interventional board-certified cardiologist.

Biography

I was born and raised in San Francisco and am of Chinese descent. My father was an internal medicine physician and influenced my professional choice to follow his footsteps. I am married and have a daughter. I have three siblings.

About my practice

I am primarily a noninvasive, non-interventional clinical cardiologist. I see members in the clinic and also in the hospital. I am involved in the pacemaker follow-up clinic and mentoring of residents from our excellent family practice residency program as well as osteopathic medical students from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Western University in Pomona, CA. Our department has a diverse selection of cardiology specialists with various interests. We work together to give you comprehensive care in the field.

How I thrive

My hobby is music, especially classical and religious music. This affords me an outlet, which takes me away from the cares of the world around us. In addition and importantly, I serve and participate in a faith community, which encourages prayer and fellowship. Reading is another hobby, although the material is usually technical, theological books or books on social issues as they relate to faith. Professionally, I have participated in lecturing and teaching. Personally, I try to exercise to keep fit although this activity is an ongoing battle to maintain.
