About Me
I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and pioneer in minimally invasive total hip replacement surgery. I am a founder of Princeton Orthopedics, P.C. and a graduate of Clark Atlanta University and the University of Alabama (UAB) School of Medicine, where I received the Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship. My career spans more than 20 years of practice in Atlanta and Birmingham, Ala.
About my practice
I specialize in orthopedic trauma, sports medicine and total joint replacement. My specialty is the innovative anterior approach to hip replacement, which allows for a faster recovery and a patient being able to return more quickly to daily activities. The patient is the center of my approach to practicing medicine, and my goal is to help patients get and stay healthy by addressing the needs of the person and not simply the illness.
How I thrive
I strive to lead a balanced lifestyle by incorporating exercise, time spent with my family and various community activities. I have served on the boards of directors for the YMCA and M-Power Ministries, a faith-based organization that provides health care for the indigent. Photography is a hobby that I am currently exploring simply because it allows me to see the world differently and to look back at what I have seen.
