About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician at Kaiser Permanente. I am an anesthesiologist at Downey Medical Center and Bellflower Medical Offices and have been in practice since 1990.

Biography

When I was in high school, I moved from Taiwan to the United States with my family. As a third-generation physician, I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue the family tradition in this wonderful and fulfilling profession. Southern California was a natural choice after finishing my school and training because the weather is very close to Taiwan’s. Knowing Mandarin Chinese helps me communicate with the growing number of Kaiser Permanente members who are more comfortable speaking that language.

About my practice

My work is divided between anesthesia and pain management. My colleagues and I in the Anesthesia Department strive to provide high-quality anesthesia care for members having surgery. As part of a pain management team, I use several types of interventional procedures to treat patients’ pain and improve their quality of life.

How I thrive

When not working, I’m always occupied with my growing family. The other integral part of my life is being involved in my church.
