About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I hope the information presented here helps you get an idea of who I am and how I may be able to help you with your health care needs.

Biography

I am a Los Angeles native. I went to Gardena High School, had my college and medical school studies at UCLA, and I completed my residency training at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. I chose to leave the Los Angeles area for residency training because I felt it was time for me to experience something new and it was an opportunity for personal growth.

About my practice

I have an efficient, yet fast-paced practice. My ideal is to have a true doctor-patient relationship with those I treat. I welcome the involvement of patients in their care, and am comfortable giving sound advice to patients who admittedly aren't knowledgeable about their diagnosis. I especially encourage those with chronic diseases to know the names, dosages, and the number of times taken daily of every medicine they take; educate themselves (with the help of our health care team, of course) about why they are taking certain medicines; follow dietary restrictions for certain diseases; add exercise to their health routine; and document their blood sugar levels and bring it to the office for review if they have diabetes. I can be found working in clinical, urgent care, and Emergency Department settings. Although I keep a busy schedule, feel free to send a brief e-mail my office with your questions.

How I thrive

Although I spend a lot of time here at Kaiser Permanente, I make time for the things I enjoy and I try to leave the rigors of work at work. This keeps me well rounded and it helps me thrive. I hope I can help you thrive too!
