About Me

I am a first generation Vietnamese American. Through hard work and the kindness of others, I fulfilled my dream of becoming a physician. I love practicing medicine and being able to provide care for others. I do not see practicing gastroenterology as just a job, but as an enjoyable career that I have chosen and love. My life outside of medicine involves spending time with my family, particularly my husband and two young children.

About my practice

I am a member of the Gastroenterology (GI) Department at Kaiser Permanente, which is a strong, diverse and very collegial team. We focus on providing quality, compassionate, comprehensive and efficient care to our members with the finest technology and medical treatment. I also have the pleasure of working with a great team of GI nurses and staff that are committed to the care of our members. I hope you will find that we go above and beyond to take care of you. I feel one of the key ways we provide outstanding care is through listening to our members. Behind the scenes, we are always working on continuous quality improvement to provide the safest and most high-quality care possible.

How I thrive

I find that humor, laughter and kindness help me thrive. I enjoy being outdoors: biking, walking and gardening. But most of all, I enjoy being a mother!
