About Me
Hello. I look forward to meeting you.
Biography
I have grown up and lived all over the United States: Wisconsin, Florida, Boston, and San Francisco. I received my undergraduate degree from Harvard University and then attended medical school at UC San Francisco. I moved to San Diego to do my residency training at UC San Diego and have stayed ever since! I developed a passion for medicine during my travels abroad and found my love for women’s health care and obstetrics/gynecology (ob/gyn) during my training. I have done medical volunteer work in Cambodia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and Tanzania, and I look forward to doing more in the future.
About my practice
I believe that medicine is a partnership between the physician and the member, and I am committed to using medicine based on evidence and current research to guide you to the health decisions that best fit your goals. I provide ob/gyn care for women of all ages and all periods of life, from the teenage years to pregnancy to postmenopausal women. I have a clinical interest in fibroids and heavy menstrual bleeding, adolescent gynecology, and LGBTIQA+ healthcare. I provide counseling and medical and surgical management, and I have an ABOG Focused Practice Designation in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS).
How I thrive
I love eating and trying new foods, spending time with my family, playing board games, scuba diving, and traveling.
