About my practice

Populations: Adult, Family, Group, Seniors, Teens. Specialties: Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression, Grief and Loss, Mood Disorders, and Substance Abuse. Interventions: CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, and Strengths Based.

I chose to get into social work because I have always enjoyed helping people. Social work allows me to practice in many different settings, which I like. In therapy I focus on people's strengths and how they can use their strengths to make positive changes. It is important to meet the patient where they are at. I work as a team with our specialists, pharmacists, and others to coordinate my patients' care. Electronic medical records help me to see the big picture of a patient's health, so I can make good use of our time together and answer my patient's questions.

How I thrive

Self-care is something that is very important to me, and I make an effort to do it every day. Music and the arts have always been a passion of mine and I am also a big sports fan, especially baseball. Go Cubs! I also enjoy travel, being active, reading, weather watching, and gardening.
